DescriptionFire Station No. 2 was located on the corner of East Market and East Exchange Streets. Their equipment included one third size Silsby engine, one two-horse hose carriage, and 1,100 feet of hose. A drawing of this image appears on page 349 of Samuel Lane's Fifty Years and over of Akron and Summit County.
