DescriptionA young boy reads under an elephant sculpture at the old Akron-Summit County Public Library's Main Library. The elephant, entitled "Thai Teak" was donated by Louis and Mary Myers of Myers Industries. It was carved in Thailand from a single piece of wood. The figure is 40 inches long, 56 inches high and 20 inches wide. It weighs over 500 pounds.
