A portrait of Knut Eckener. Knut was the son of Dr. Hugo Eckener, German designer and pilot of the commericial airships - the Graf Zeppelin and the Hindenburg. Knut Eckener followed in his father's footsteps and also piloted both the Graf Zeppelin and the Hindenburg.
