Beal, was supposed to be on that train that day, when word started going around that the accident had happened and family and friends started to gather at my great grandmothers on Bailey Road to wait for the news on deaths & injuries when my father pulled up with grandpa in the car. He had changed his mind at the last minute and come home with my dad. What a relief! |
