DescriptionA postcard showing a mural painted by Akron, Ohio artist Don Getz of the Aetna Mills in Akron, Ohio. The steepest section of the Ohio & Erie Canal was between Akron and the Little Cuyahoga River. In a single mile, 15 locks were needed to help canal boats climb the Continental Divide. Locks 10 through 16 formed the Cascade Locks Area.
