The clock tower of Plant 1 of The Firestone Tire & Rubber Company is the dominant structure at the northern end of the mile-long row of Firestone plants in Akron, Ohio, where the company was founded in 1900 by Harvey S. Firestone. This building houses a large tire making plant and the general offices of the world-wide Firestone organization.
