| Date | n.d. |
| Description | A watercolor painting of the John Brown Monument at Perkins Park in Akron, Ohio. The monument was erected in 1910 by the German-American Alliance. The column had once been in the portico of the original 1843 Summit County Courthouse, which was demolished in 1908. 1938, the monument was enlarged by the "Negro 25 year Club" to include a circular stone seating area and plaza. A bronze eagle on top of the column was lost in the tornado of 1843. The monument is now located on the grounds of the Akron Zoo and is closed to the public. |
