Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society

Doodlebug The Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society began in 1979 and was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1980. Once housed in a small room on the third floor of the Quirk Cultural Center, the museum moved to its current location, 2083 Cook Street, in 2007. The Historical Society preserves the history of Cuyahoga Falls through its collections and promotes interest in that history through its programs. The museum is open every Monday from 8 am to noon and the third Sunday of every month from 2 to 4 pm. For more information please call 330.929.1765.

Doodlebug Disaster Collection

More than 40 images and text about the 1940 trainwreck in Cuyahoga Falls and the 2005 Memorial Ceremony commemorating the disaster.

High Bridge Glens Collection

Includes images relating to the 1880s resort in Cuyahoga Falls. In 2007, the City of Cuyahoga Falls received a grant to clean up and redevelop this historic area.
